Insights & Takeaways

  1. He averages > 2 posts per day! This is another top-performing account that's going against the "you can only post 1x per day" common advice. And he's clearly crushing it.
  2. He's repurposing his video content. Neil posts on every platform and has millions of followers. He's taking his top-performing short-form content and putting it on LinkedIn, but he's doing it the right way:

    He writes hooks and relevant captions to go with the post and keeps the video as supplementary material.

    He also is posting his YouTube videos directly to LinkedIn (9-min to 12-min videos)
  3. He's using LinkedIn Lives regularly. 4x in the last month, to be precise. He'll usually post about it a few days before with a link for people to register. Then after it's live, you can watch the full replay on the same post he used to promote the "webinar." Great opportunity to use webinars directly on the platform.
  4. He's leaning into AI hard. Look at the two best-performing posts. The first is giving people major FOMO because the playbook for SEO has changed. The second is doing the same by stating most marketers are optimizing for an old system.
  5. All 28 of his image posts have proprietary data. Neil has said these drive leads better than most of his posts. And he also clearly says he is optimizing for REVENUE, not likes and views. If you have proprietary data, it's never been easier to visualize data with tools like Claude. Highly recommend. Example below:
