Hey! This week, we're taking a look at Chase Dimond's account. One of the best ways to improve your content on any platform is to find the people who are winning the most and see what they're doing. So let's get into it! Quick highlights:
Best two posts (by likes):1/ The older I get, the more I believe kindness is a competitive advantage. 2/ The older I get, the more I realize. Insights & Takeaways1/ Chase posts 2-3x every single day. This is something I’m seeing more often now. Many of the top creators moved from 1x per day to 2x per day (Chris Reilly, Neil Patel, Justin Welsh, etc.). The majority still post 1x per day, but you can definitely make 2x per day work. 2/ It’s no secret he’s using engagement groups. If you take a look at his comments, you’ll see it for yourself. AI-generated comments alongside ~5 other accounts that do the same. It’s a service he sells and a service he uses. Like I said, no secret. 3/ He owns some brand LinkedIn accounts with large followings. The other ~5 accounts commenting on posts are accounts he owns. Which is why he can sell it as a service and use it to his advantage. In my mind, there’s no doubt these help him in terms of overall reach and engagement on LinkedIn. 4/ He’s also going after massive TAM topics. Like many of these large accounts, he’s going after big TAM topics. Just look at the top 2 posts I shared above. Both are about “the older I get, the more I realize…” AKA stuff anyone in the world could relate to and say “this is for me.” One concern I have as I do these big account breakdowns is that people will learn the wrong lesson. I might need to highlight some people who are winning without going after big TAM topics. 5/ He’s using the “View my services” custom button. This is pretty interesting and unique because the vast majority of accounts will push people off platform to their website or newsletter. But he’s pushing people to LinkedIn’s internal “services” tool. These are all the services he offers: 6/ He’s promoting his companies but also affiliate tools. This also surprised me. He's promoting SaaS tools like Gamma or Omnisend. They're either paying him for the posts or he's an affiliate. Perhaps this is why he's posting so frequently as well. 7/ All-in-all, he's found his way to win. He's certainly generating serious revenue from LinkedIn. If I had to make a guess, I'd bet LinkedIn drives $1m-$3m per year to him/his companies. But that's a total shot in the dark. If you have the inside scoop, would love to hear! And that's it. Two questions for you:
