Do you want to become the LinkedIn thought leader of your industry without spending 20 hours per month writing content, engaging with peers, and sending connection requests?

The B2B founders we work with spend less than 2 hours per month on LinkedIn to see the same results.

Hey!

This week, we’re taking a look at Tim Denning’s account.

One of the best ways to learn anything is to find the experts at it, see what they're doing, imitate it, and make it your own. This is my attempt to do so.

Let's dive in.

Insights & Takeaways

I followed Tim on Twitter for years and somehow never looked at his LinkedIn until recently. 604,000 followers. Massive.

Here's the thing I didn't expect: roughly 90% of his LinkedIn posts are screenshots of his own tweets, with a reaction written on top. Not curated screenshots of other people. His.

He spent years being polarizing on Twitter and playing that game well. Now he's taking that library and running it again on a second platform. I wouldn't be surprised if LinkedIn is driving more traffic for him than Twitter is at this point.

AND I just checked. He also has 400k followers on IG + more than 200k on his newsletter. His IG is literally his tweets.

Instead of a long list this week, there are two takeaways I want to share.

1. A content library is worth more than people think.

Building the Twitter account wasn't 10% harder than building the LinkedIn account. It was probably 100-300% harder. He had to create the IP from scratch. Come up with the spicy takes. Iterate for years to find out which ones landed.

He gets to skip all of that for LinkedIn. He already knows which ideas work because they were tested in public. He grabs the winner and adds context.

And you can run this on whatever platform shows up next. The library is the asset. The platform is just distribution.

2. Having the library isn't enough. You have to purposefully publish it.

All that content sitting on X does nothing for LinkedIn without a process pushing it there.

I'd say creating the IP is 70-80% of the work. The other 20-30% is republishing it in a format that matches the new platform. That part still takes effort. You need to confirm it's working before you go hands-off with it.

The system can be simple:

  • Pull every post you've published in the last 365 days on X
  • Take the top 10%
  • Use those as your screenshots
  • Write a post that elaborates on the idea or comes at it from a different angle

That's an hour a week. Maybe a couple hours a month. Or one part-time person doing the repurposing.

You need both halves. The library and the publishing process. One without the other doesn't win.

And a fun note on the monetization side of things:

His site is now a single funnel with one offer. The homepage is entirely a free case study opt-in:

"$100K Per Month, Like Clockwork. One Funnel. One Offer. Four Hours of Work Per Day."

Case study > Application page > Book a call > Offer.

His offer is called "Fearless Money Makers" and it looks like it's a high-ticket coaching program that does $100k+/mo in profit (self-reported).

And that’s it.

Two questions for you:

  1. Anything new or interesting you learned from this?
  2. Who would you like me to cover next?

Best,

Matthew

Hey - Matthew here! Instead of your weekly TRIBE email, I'm gonna vary this one up a little bit. I saw this tweet come across my feed: It was actually an ad. But regardless, with those kinds of results ($2m to $4m ARR in 30 days), I had to click. What happened next is what the future of AI for cold email looks like. I entered my company site. Immediately, it began piecing together what I do. It understood my offer. My target audience. My positioning. My pricing. Everything. Then, it literally...
