Hey! This week, we're taking a look at Alexis Kerr's account. One of the best ways to improve your content on any platform is to find the people who are winning the most and see what they're doing. So let's get into it! Quick highlights:
Best two posts (by likes):1/ God is putting your name in the ear of someone who can change your life 2/ God didn’t call you to blend in Insights & Takeaways1/ She posted 4x per day, every day, for the past 30 days. Most big accounts post 1x per day. Some post 2x per day. Here she is posting 4x per day and getting great engagement and reach on most of her posts. 2/ She's leaning hard into God and religion. This is interesting because you don't typically think of LinkedIn as a platform to share religious thoughts and feelings, but she's doing it and people enjoy it too! 3/ She only CTAs in 6 of her posts. Most people that tell you to monetize would say adding links doesn't hurt your reach, so might as well include one in every post. Daniel Priestley, for example, makes $7k per post. And he includes a link with every post. She isn't doing it, and I don't have insight into her monetization, but she seems to be doing well. 4/ Her about section is cramped. Most people, myself included, would tell you to have some line breaks so it's more readable. Hasn't stopped her from succeeding! 5/ Many of her posts have no text-captions whatsoever. Just an image with quotes like her two best posts above. Conclusion: I wanted to highlight Alexis because she breaks all the norms, and yet, she's succeeding. The "rules of LinkedIn" (post 1x per day, use text captions, space your posts out, etc) aren't really rules. They might help some people win, but you can forge your own path and still succeed. And that's it. Two questions for you:
